From Adventure to Dinner: The Maré Sol Collective Story
Last night I sat down at my kitchen table, surrounded by exactly 30,000 silicone beads, and had to laugh. If you would have told me six months ago that I’d be hand-organizing tens of thousands of beads into little containers, I’m not sure I would have believed you! What started as a simple search for the "perfect" accessory has officially taken flight into something much bigger.
The "Accidental" Spark
I didn’t actually set out to build a brand. As someone who lives for family adventures and immersing ourselves in other countries and cultures, I was always conflicted about bringing jewelry along. I wanted something cute and comfortable that could withstand a full day of beach hopping, ziplining and ATV riding and still look put together enough to wear to dinner that same evening.
When I couldn't find a bracelet that was truly "adventure-proof," I decided to make my own. I chose 100% premium silicone because it’s featherlight, salt-resistant, and sweat-resistant. Little did I know, it had lit a spark inside me!
A Family Affair
This journey has been a team effort from day one. My husband is not only my biggest cheerleader but also has always had a knack for patterns and color. I’ve affectionately named him my head designer. He’s the one helping me dream up new colorways and ensuring every piece is as functional as it is stylish.
Growth & Gratitude
The momentum has been incredible. Beyond the 30,000 beads currently taking over my dining room table, I am beyond excited to share that Maré Sol Collective will soon be arriving in local retail stores here in Colorado. Being able to see our adventure-ready bracelets on physical shelves is a dream come true.
